DuPont National Forest is probably my favorite place to hike with my baby near Asheville. The trails are wide, clean, and clear. You can take it slow or pick up the pace for a little extra exercise, I always enjoy just walking down to Hooker Falls from the parking lot where there are restrooms and a water station!
